Prophet Musa ﷺ is the most extensively detailed prophet in the Holy Qur'an. Born under Pharaoh's decree slaughtering Israelite infant boys, his mother placed him in an ark upon the Nile, where he was drawn out and raised inside Pharaoh's palace. After defending an oppressed Israelite, he fled to Madyan, married, and worked as a shepherd for a decade. At Mount Tur (Sinai), Allah spoke directly to him from the burning bush and commanded him to demand the release of Banu Isra'il from Pharaoh. Empowered with miracles (the Staff and the Radiant Hand), he vanquished Pharaoh's sorcerers, led the Exodus through the miraculously parted sea, and received the Law on the Tablets.
« وَكَلَّمَ اللَّهُ مُوسَىٰ تَكْلِيمًا »
« وَأَنَا اخْتَرْتُكَ فَاسْتَمِعْ لِمَا يُوحَىٰ إِنَّنِي أَنَا اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنَا فَاعْبُدْنِي وَأَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ لِذِكْرِي »
