Naqib Banu Zurayq, First to Build a Mosque in Madinah • رضي الله عنه
Among the earliest six men of Yathrib who embraced Islam at Aqabah. The Prophet ﷺ gave him Surah Yusuf written on parchment; he carried it to Madinah and read it aloud to his kinsmen. Constructed the first place of prayer in Yathrib for his clan. Martyred fighting valiantly at Uhud.
